As the HVACR industry moves toward lower-GPW, mildly flammable refrigerants, contractors wonder just how flammable A2Ls really are. AHRI reports it would take three system failures for an A2L refrigerant to ignite. Governments are proposing credits and grants for improving HVAC as a way to prevent COVID by improving air circulation in public buildings.
